Dave Anderson

Dave became a member of the Kitsap Credit Union Supervisory Committee in 1996 and served as Chair of the Supervisory Committee from August 1999 until August 2002 when he was selected to fill a vacancy on the Board of Directors. Dave has served as the Chair of the Board since March 2007, and is the immediate Past Vice Chair. He has also served as Loan Officer, member of the Investment Committee, and Chair of the Major Procurement Committee. Dave has previously served on the Nominating Committee, Compensation Review Committee, and chaired the SERP Development Committee.

Dave is a retired Navy Supply Corps Captain with 30 years of military service. He served as Supply Officer for Puget Sound Naval Shipyard from 1984 until his retirement from the Navy in 1990. He held that position longer than any other supply officer in the history of the shipyard. Following his military career, he first served as a financial executive with Dain Bosworth, Inc. and then ran his own private consulting business. An active Rotarian since 1985, Dave has served as Treasurer of the Bremerton Rotary Club since 1996. He has also served as a Director and Treasurer for the Bremerton Rotary Foundation and was selected as Rotarian of the Year for 2002. Dave also served as a Director from 1985-1989 and subsequently manager of Olympic View Water Management Association in Silverdale from 1990-2007.

Dave has completed a number of modules for the Volunteer Achievement Program, which includes the Core, Board of Directors, Credit Committee, Supervisory Committee, and Advanced Modules. He has also received the Edward A. Filene, Friedrich Raiffeisen, and the Roy Bergengren Awards, and has attended at least one continuing education seminar or conference each year since 1997.

Born and raised in Grays Harbor County, Dave and his wife, Sharon, have been property owners in Kitsap County for over 37 and currently live in Silverdale.
