Jim Rowson

Jim was appointed to the Kitsap Credit Union Board of Directors in July of 2010 to fill an unexpired term.
He retired from Harrison Medical Center in December of 2008. His 33 years of employment with Harrison included 25 years as Chief Financial Officer.
Jim is an active community volunteer. His past board experience includes directorships at five different local organizations and is currently a director and secretary/treasurer of the Martha and Mary Lutheran Services Board in addition to the Credit Union position. He also has volunteered in youth sports as a basketball coach and continues as a crew chief for a local high school football yard marker crew.
His other community activities include a member of various church committees; treasurer for various organizations such as high school senior parents groups and investment clubs and a multi-year volunteer instructor for the Healthcare Financial Management Association’s Fellowship coaching course.
Jim holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Washington. Jim is a CPA – Inactive.
Jim has been a member of Kitsap Credit Union since 1988. He is looking forward to continuing his volunteer activities with KCU and to fully participate on the Board and its various committees. He has been married to his wife Judy for 35 years and has two grown children.
