Pete moved to Kitsap County in 1974 after earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Washington State University in 1972 and a Master’s Degree in Health Care Administration from the University of Washington in 1974. He spent 33 years at Harrison Medical Center, 32 years of which were as a Vice President. The past four years Pete has worked in Silverdale for H&R Block, doing tax returns and managing one or more offices. In 2011, he obtained the EA (Enrolled Agent) status with the IRS.

Community involvement has been an important part of Pete's life. He was a long-term member, including Past-President, of the East Bremerton Rotary Club, a Director and Past-President of Hospice of Kitsap County, and a long-term Director and Secretary of the Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Institute (CAPRI) of Kitsap County. He was also on the Kitsap and Northwest Regional Emergency Medical Services Task Forces and was an advisor for a local Boy Scouts troop.

Pete has been a member of Kitsap Credit Union since 1988. His positive experiences with Kitsap Credit Union led him to seek ways to volunteer his time. After serving six months in a training mode, he was elected by the Board of Directors to the Supervisory Committee in April 2012. He is honored to be selected in this capacity, is committed to the continued education made available (having completed more than 20 training courses to date), and is eager to assist with maintaining and improving the important financial services that Kitsap Credit Union provides to its communities.

Pete and his wife, Carol, live in East Bremerton.
