Ralph Strickland

Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois Ralph relocated to Kitsap County in 1970 and became a Kitsap Credit Union member in 1973.
Ralph began volunteering for the Credit Union in 1977 as a member of the Audit Committee. He has since served in many capacities including Chair of the Board of Directors from 1988 to 1990. Ralph has been a member of several Credit Union committees during the last decade including the Major Procurement, Compensation/Review, Nominating, and Investment Committees. He also served four years as Supervisory Committee Advisor and as a member of the Kitsap Financial Services Board of Directors.
Ralph’s commitment to furthering his knowledge, skills, and abilities as a Board member is illustrated by the many awards and certifications he has received for completing various training offerings. They include the Volunteer Achievement and Leadership Programs.
He is also a past recipient of the Washington Credit Union League’s Outstanding Volunteer of the Year Award.
Ralph retired from Keyport in 1993 as a Production Department Leader. He resides in Silverdale with his wife, Valerie.
