Terry Thomas

Treasurer

Terry was born and reared in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

He served eight years in the Navy on board Polaris Fleet Ballistic Missile Submarines and has lived in the Bremerton/Poulsbo area since 1969. Terry joined Kitsap Credit Union immediately upon settling in the area when it was operating out of its PSNS office.

Terry has utilized nearly every service offered by Kitsap Credit Union for his personal financial needs and has embraced the concept of sharing a good thing with his family members.

Terry began volunteering for the Credit Union in 2003 as a member of the Supervisory/Audit Committee. He has since served in many capacities including Chair of the Supervisory Committee from 2008 to 2009. Terry has been a member of several Credit Union Board committees during the last decade including Major Procurement, Investment and Compensation/Review. He was appointed to the KCU Board of Directors in November of 2010 to fill an unexpired term.

He believes the years ahead for Kitsap Credit Union are destined to be as great as the past. As the Credit Union looks forward to expanded services, Terry is eager to contribute his many talents and be a part of its future as a member of the Board Directors.

Terry resides in Poulsbo with his wife Cheryl.
