Terry Thomas

Chair

Terry was born and reared in the Midwest enjoying the woods of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. After serving eight years in the Navy on board Polaris Fleet Ballistic Missile Submarines, he settled in the Bremerton/Poulsbo area in 1969. Immediately upon settling in the area, he joined Kitsap Credit Union when it was operating out of the PSNS office. Terry has utilized nearly every service offered by the Credit Union for his personal financial needs and has embraced the concept of sharing a good thing with his family members. All of Terry’s children are gown adults with financial needs of their own and all have accounts at the Credit Union.

Terry completed his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from City University in 1980. Terry retired from a rewarding professional carreer in civil service at the Naval Submarine Base, Bangor after 37 years of service in 1999. He works as a Project Manager at Paladin Data Systems in Poulsbo. Terry has drawn on the community in which he lives and believes strongly in the concept of giving back. As a Supervisory Committee member since January 2003, Terry wants to contribute to the community that he has grown to admire.

Terry resides in Poulsbo with his wife Cheryl. He believes the years ahead for the Credit Union are destined to be as great as the past. As the Credit Union looks forward to expanded services, Terry is eager to contribute his many talents and be a part of the future at the Credit Union.
