Important Notice Regarding Alternatives to Foreclosure

You may be able to refinance your loan, extend the repayment period and/or reduce the interest rate, thereby lowering your monthly payments.

Kitsap Credit Union may be able to provide you with special forbearance, in light of your current circumstances.

You may be able to sell your home and repay your mortgage in its entirety. If your home’s value is less than your outstanding loan balance, Kitsap Credit Union may be willing to accept less money than you owe as full payment (a short sale).

Be sure to notify Kitsap Credit Union in the event your property is listed or under contract for sale or the foreclosure may take place not withstanding your expected sale.

To explore any (or all) of these options, contact Kitsap Credit Union’s Home Loan Center at 360-662-2266 or 800-422-5852.
