IRA Accounts

Save for retirement with a Kitsap Credit Union Individual Retirement Account (IRA). You could earn a tax deduction, a high yield, and an independent future.* You can contribute up to $5,000 of earned income annually to an individual IRA up to age 70½. You may also contribute an additional $1,000 if you are age 50 or better as a catch-up contribution. Consider opening a spousal IRA if your spouse has no compensation and you file a joint tax return.

You may open a Credit Union IRA for as little as $5.00, or you may transfer the balance of an IRA at another institution. Add to your IRA at any time, up to your maximum annual contribution. Deposits may be made at any of our branch offices, through automatic payroll deduction, or automatic transfer.

Members have the option of investing their $5,000 annual contribution in one of our fixed rate, guaranteed term IRA Certificates.
