BPD Sergeant Named Healthy Tomorrow Award Winner
Wendy takes an active role, getting involved in her community. She is always a fully engaged member of any group with which she participates.” That’s the way Bremerton Police Sergeant Wendy Davis was described by the person who nominated her as the latest Kitsap Credit Union / Kitsap Sun Healthy Tomorrow Award recipient.
Wendy finds the time to be an active participant in a variety of community organizations including serving as a Director of the Kitsap County Fair Board; a Law Enforcement advisory member of the Kitsap County Commission on Youth and Children; an Associate Board Member of the Kitsap County Top Hands organization; a participating member of the Kitsap County Homeless Community Safety Net; and a member of the Kitsap County Traffic Safety Task Force.
In her free time, the former U.S. Marine recently completed her Bachelor’s Degree.
Sergeant Davis’ dedication to helping others is truly inspirational in that this passion and drive has continued even as she endured great personal loss.
We salute Sergeant Wendy Davis for her untiring contributions to our community.
