Bill Slach has been a member of Kitsap Credit Union for over 35 years and as a volunteer for 21 years. He retired in 2002 from Puget Sound Naval Shipyard as the Head of the Nuclear Job Planning Branch.
Bill has served in every Board of Directors position and on each of the standing committees (Supervisory, Investment, Compensation/Review, Major Procurement, ALEC, Nominating and Political Ad Hoc). He served on the Board of Kitsap Financial Services. He has attended national and state conferences, completed the Volunteer Achievement Program, and participated in annual strategic planning sessions.
Bill commented, "Our quality of service is my number one concern. Our strength and stability will enable us to expand branches and technology channels to meet all our members' needs".
Bill's outside interests include the Kitsap County Historical Society and Toastmasters. He and his wife, Chris, reside in South Kitsap.
