Caring for Our Communities

With our credit union’s long history of working with the community and local charities, we understand the larger demands necessary to help our neighbors. To help focus our mission of giving back to our communities, Kitsap Credit Union launched the KCUCares Foundation in 2019. Through the Foundation, we can bring together our community to multiply our impact and make transformative change.

Transform Lives in Our Area!

Our Mission

To reliably fund efforts that provide food, shelter, and the steppingstones to financial wellbeing and inspire others to join us in this journey.

Hunger

With rising food prices, food insecurity continues to be a growing challenge for families during these times and there’s an increase the number and frequency of those relying on local food banks and food assistance programs. By supporting organizations in the fight against hunger, we can help positively impact the lives of those in need.

Financial Wellness

We believe that education is the key to success in being financially healthy. Our programs establish a foundation for students and adults to build upon to support themselves and share with their families. More than that, we want to demystify finances and start meaningful money conversations. We understand that financially healthy individuals create healthier, more resilient, and prosperous communities where individuals can thrive and fulfill their potential.
