Our Mission
To reliably fund efforts that provide food, shelter, and the stepping stones to financial wellbeing and inspire others to join us in this journey.
Hunger
With rising food prices, food insecurity continues to be a growing challenge for families during these times and there’s an increase the number and frequency of those relying on local food banks and food assistance programs. By supporting organizations in the fight against hunger, we can help positively impact the lives of those in need.

Housing Insecurity
Homelessness and the housing crisis have affected individuals and families alike. We partner with organizations working all along the continuum of housing to make sure that everyone has access to safe and stable housing.

Financial Wellness
We believe that education is the key to success in being financially healthy. Our programs establish a foundation for students and adults to build upon to support themselves and share with their families. More than that, we want to demystify finances and start meaningful money conversations. We understand that financially healthy individuals create healthier, more resilient, and prosperous communities where individuals can thrive and fulfill their potential.

KCUCares Community Support
KCUCares is proud to support local 501(c)(3) nonprofits in Kitsap, Mason, Pierce, and Jefferson Counties. We look for requests that connect with our mission and focus on housing, financial wellness, or hunger.
There are a few areas we are unable to support, including requests from individuals, travel, tuition, dues, subscriptions, religious or political activities, fraternal campaigns, or sports.
While we wish we could fund every worthy cause, our decisions are guided by these guidelines and our available budget.
