Happy Retirement, Viola and Bryan!
Over the past week, we have had the privilege of celebrating the retirement of two fantastic KCU team members, Viola and Bryan. We are so happy that we had the pleasure of working with these individuals and wish them all the best in their much-deserved retirements.
Here’s a bit more about Viola:
Viola began her career at KCU a little over 20 years ago, starting as a teller and working her way up to Branch Manager at our South Kitsap Branch. Viola has been in this role since 2006, taking on many impressive projects, including opening two High School Branches at North and South Kitsap High Schools and managing both the Bremerton and South Kitsap High School locations for 13 years.
“What I love about working for Kitsap Credit Union is all the relationships that I have built over the years,” said Viola. “It is the people we work with who have become a part of my family and it is the friendships that I have created with the many members that I have had an opportunity to work with and get to know. Some of whom I have become friends with outside of the credit union.”
Here’s a bit more about Bryan:
Bryan joined the KCU team as a part-time employee in the Contact Center in 2014 but said he grew to like KCU so much that he decided to take on a full-time role in Support Services. Looking back over the past 9 years, Bryan said that his greatest accomplishments were the opportunities to assist members with their accounts and helping them to make wise decisions while interacting with them at the Contact Center, as well as being able to assist in the streamlining and improvement in several procedures while in Support Services.
“I got to work with Bryan not once but twice, first in the Contact Center, then again in Support Services,” said KCU team member, Jeff. “Each time it was a pleasure to work with him in various ways to serve our membership. Bryan has always been an advocate for the organization and the membership, and it showed in his attention to detail and the thoroughness he brought to his work.”
